Back in the early Eighties, Serge Bensimon acquired a stock of white French army tennis shoes from the navy. He transformed them using an innovative dyeing technique, capable of coloring the canvas without bleeding onto the sole. Each pair is then dyed using a traditional, handcrafted method that gives the color its unique, slightly patinated character. No two pairs are exactly alike: that’s the beauty of this process. The natural rubber sole is hot-vulcanized: this means it’s baked directly onto the canvas, without glue. This process ensures greater durability while providing flexibility and comfort. This expertise, inherited from the military (which has inspired tennis shoes since their origins) remains central to the manufacturing process.
This gave birth to the lace-up tennis shoe, a timeless classic.
It is easy to care for, Machine wash 30° and air dry to refresh their life and wear it again and again
